NIGHT OF 1000 STEVIES - the largest and most beloved STEVIE NICKS fan event in the world - returns to New York City's IRVING PLAZA on May 5 for its twenty-seventh annual edition. This marathon evening is produced by show founders CHI CHI VALENTI and JOHNNY DYNELL and their creative krewe at THE JACKIE FACTORY. NOTS is one of those great New York City spectacles that spark travel from all around the globe. This year the show pays homage to Stevie's many Hollywood themes, beginning with the beloved title song GARBO.
GARBO is a classic that goes back to the roots of NOTS and its early icons, and the Stevie Nicks connections to Hollywood run even deeper. There is 24 KARAT GOLD selection MABEL NORMAND and its "Hollywood Babylon" retelling, the black and white Golden Age film flashbacks in the FLEETWOOD MAC video for GYPSY, Stevie's former Hollywood Hills mansion once owned by Silent Film Queen VILMA BANKY, and the referencing of the City of Angels dream/nightmare in songs like "After The Glitter Fades". The producers invite our audience to "lose yourself in a silvery dress" and join us in the Norma Desmond glamour of the Irving Plaza ballroom on May 5.
This year's bill is now in formation and the producers will announce first confirmed performers and ensembles by late January. Interested in applying for one of the four new performer/ensemble slots for NOTS 27? Please email the producers at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line "New Performer NOTS 2017" and we will send back instructions for how to apply online. We will be reviewing applications between January 5 - March 5 this year and will notify all applicants beginning March 7.
Neither a contest nor a karaoke show, NOTS is the Stevie Nicks celebration ne plus ultra - a riot of shawls, lace, baby's breath, twirling, tambourines and great performance. The much-loved annual, helmed by founders CHI CHI VALENTI and JOHNNY DYNELL and their JACKIE FACTORY production company, has featured celebrated performers including DEBBIE HARRY, JUSTIN VIVIAN BOND, BOY GEORGE, THE CRYSTAL ARK, BASIL TWIST, CYNDI LAUPER, VANGELINE THEATER, JOEY ARIAS and many more. Born in 1991 at the tiny performance venue MOTHER at JACKIE 60, NOTS and its passionate audience inspired the feature film GYPSY 83 and even a "Jeopardy" question. It has also launched generations of "Legends of Stevie Realness" including founding performer DEAN JOHNSON and so many more.

NOTS 21: THE WILD HEART was a Victorian heart-flavored edition inspired by one of Stevie's early albums - THE WILD HEART - and its title song. The show opened with a special surprise from The Goddess herself - a video message to all the NOTS attendees - watch it here!
