THE ENDLESS NIGHT |

COSTUME COMPETITION FINALISTSThere were over five hundred attendees at the gala gathering, dressed in interpretations of vampyre clans, myths, legends and historical characters. This made the costume contest especially entertaining -any of the top competitors would have easily won a lesser contest. The leonine winner (below left) was truly magnificent and took the prize to a huge ovation, but we also loved the Venetian Ball couple (below center.) |

BACKSTAGE AND ONSTAGE AT THE BALLMOTHERNYC's own EMPRESS CHI CHI VALENTI (below left) presided over the hours-long program, with help from JOHN DE SADE (of SIN CITY NYC.) The ball began with the vampyre wedding of LORD AND LADY WINDWALKER (below center) onstage at midnight by High Priest Arces, attended by the Court of the Black Swans. More costume finalists (below right) primp during competition. |

New York's ST. EVE (below left) and Florida's CRUXSHADOWS performed for the marvelous mob, including MAGIC amd SATSIA (below center) from California. In between, the devilish DJing of IAN FFORD (below right) of LONG BLACK VEIL NYC kept the crowd dancing ENDLESSLY.

A GUEST'S GALLERYBall guests included Cinematic Vamp GARY OLDMAN and New Orleans legend LORD CHAZ, but some of the most unforgettable attendees hailed from Vampyre enclaves in Florida, Texas, and even Tokyo! NOLA's own JADE(second from left, top) was one of many white-clad beauties, while EDEN (second from right, top) represented the Florida SANGUINARIUM and LADY ALIANA (bottom left) brought her chainmail and velvet from Houston. More costumed finery included Middle Eastern interpretations, ST. EVE's Wagneresque wings (top left,) many fairies and sprites, and producer FATHER TODD's modern Vampyre dandy (top right.) Our ANGEL at top of page and lower right was one of the lovelies in the CRUXSHADOWS coven.
